When this baby hippo arrived at the shelter, she had been badly abused. She had bite wounds all  over her body, and had a large swollen area on her head from a cracked skull. Someone had been very unkind to this sweet puppy, but she still had love to give. 

After 10 months of care, Hazel was adopted into her forever home, where she has two human children, a dog sister and two cats. She loves to play, hoard toys and makes her family laugh every day with her silly personality and adorable face.
